How to Assemble Your Ruggable Pet Bed

Before You Start

• Finding the Bolster Cover: Don't panic if you don't see it immediately—the outer bolster cover is folded neatly inside the box.

• Pre-Assembled Mattress: If the mattress cover is already on the cushion when you open the box, you can skip right past the Mattress Assembly step.

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

1.  Unboxing & Expansion

1. Carefully cut open the plastic wrap, taking extra care not to cut the bed itself.

2. Remove the center mattress cushion and the donut-shaped bolster cushion.

3. Let the cushions sit for a few minutes to unroll, fluff up, and reach their full shape.

2. Bolster Assembly

1. Lay the outer bolster cover on the floor with the bottom side facing up, then unzip it completely.

2. Insert the bolster cushion into the bolster cover, ensuring the bottom (flat side) of the cushion faces up (matching the bottom of the cover).

3. Zip the cover closed, flip the bolster over, and smooth out any wrinkles so it fits snugly and evenly.

3. Mattress Assembly (Skip if already covered)

1. Insert the mattress cushion into the outer mattress cover, making sure the “TOP” label on the memory foam cushion is facing upward.

2. Insert the mattress cushion into the zippered opening on the outer mattress cover and fully zip it up. Ensure the "Ruggable" flag label on the mattress cover is positioned on the bottom.

3. Smooth out any wrinkles and make sure the cover fits evenly and nicely around the mattress cushion.

4. Full Bed Assembly

1. Push the mattress down evenly into the center hole of the bolster, ensuring that the mattress sits flat on the floor. Again ensure the “Ruggable” flag label is on the bottom.

2. Smooth out any wrinkles with your hands and make sure the mattress sits evenly and nicely inside of the bolster.
