Our Flatwoven Two-Piece Rug is the original machine-washable rug. Its removable rug cover makes cleaning at home simple and lets you switch styles whenever you like. The durable, low-profile construction works well throughout your home, especially in high-traffic areas, under furniture, and near doors.

The Flatwoven Rug Cover is machine washable, with a widest range of rug sizes compatible with home washing machines. Remove the Rug Cover from the Rug Pad before washing. Larger sizes may require a commercial washing machine.
Cleaning
Machine-wash the rug cover separately in cold water on a delicate cycle, with the design side facing out. Use a mild, non-bleach detergent. Do not use fabric softener
Tumble dry on low heat or air-dry completely before attaching to the rug pad. Avoid high heat
Vacuum regularly using low suction and soft bristles. Avoid stiff rotating brushes and vacuuming directly over corners or fringe
Blot spills promptly and spot clean minor stains as needed
Spot clean the rug pad with mild soap and water. Never machine-wash, tumble-dry, or submerge
Helpful Tips
Ensure the rug cover, rug pad, and floor are completely dry before reassembly
If the Rug Cover lifts while vacuuming, use a push-only motion
Rotate rugs every 3–6 months in high-traffic or sunny rooms to help maintain even wear. In low-traffic rooms, rotating once a year is generally sufficient
Robot vacuums are not recommended, as they may damage rug edges or corners
To store, roll (don't fold) your rug cover with the design side facing out
