Runner Rugs - Style That Goes the Distance

Perfect for Narrow Spaces

Runner rugs are an easy way to add personality and warmth to tight or narrow areas. Whether lining a hallway, leading into your entryway, or adding comfort to your kitchen, these rugs make a stylish impact without taking up too much floor space. Choose from bold prints, timeless neutrals, or soft textures to suit your home’s aesthetic.

Designed to Keep Up with Life

Ruggable runner rugs are machine-washable, low-profile, and easy to maintain—ideal for places that see a lot of foot traffic, spills, or everyday messes. Just toss them in the wash to keep your space fresh and clean, no matter what life brings through the door.

Fit for Any Room

Available in various lengths to suit your space, runner rugs are a great choice for kitchens, hallways, mudrooms, or even bathrooms. With so many colors, patterns, and textures to choose from, there’s a runner to complement any decor style.

FAQs:

What size are Ruggable runner rugs?

Our standard runner sizes are 2.5' x 7' and 2.5' x 10', perfect for kitchens, hallways, or alongside beds. Their slim profile fits narrow spaces with ease.

Where should I place a runner rug?

Runner rugs are great for hallways, galley kitchens, entryways, bathrooms, and even along one side of a bed. They add softness and style to areas where you walk most often.

Are runner rugs machine-washable?

Yes! Our runner rugs are fully machine-washable and designed to handle spills, dirt, and everyday traffic with ease.

Do runner rugs slip or bunch up?

Our rugs are made with nonslip backing to help keep them in place—even in busy households or on slick floors.

Can runner rugs be used outdoors?

While some of our indoor runners are best for interior use, we also offer outdoor-friendly runner rugs specifically designed to withstand the elements.

How do I keep my runner in place?

Ruggable runners are specially designed to grip smooth surfaces like hardwood, tile, or laminate.

  • Place on a Clean, Dry Floor

  • Before laying down your runner, clean the floor thoroughly and allow it to dry. Dirt or moisture can reduce the grip of the rug pad and cause slipping.

  • Add Extra Grip in High-Traffic Areas

  • If your runner still shifts—especially on slick or uneven flooring—try these:

    • Double-sided rug tape (use cautiously and test first to avoid floor damage).

    • Silicone-based grip strips: Can provide more traction without damaging floors.

  • Let It Settle

After placing your rug, give it some time to settle flat. Walk over it or place light furniture on the ends to help the runner “set” into place.
