How to Machine-Wash the Pillow Cover

Launder the outer cover after major spills or accidents to keep the fabric fresh:

1. Prep: Unzip the cover and remove the internal pillow insert.

2. Protect: Turn the cover completely inside out and zip it fully closed to protect the texture and hardware during the wash cycle.

3. Wash: Machine-wash separately in cold water on a delicate cycle using a mild, non-bleach detergent.

   1. Important: Never use fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Do not use fabric softener or chlorine bleach. Fabric softener can affect the cover’s texture, while bleach can weaken the material and cause discoloration.

4. Dry: Tumble dry on low heat.

How to Spot-Clean Spills & Stains

For minor messes between washes, address the spill immediately to prevent pigments from setting into the fabric.

How to Clean the Pillow Insert

The internal insert should never be placed in a washing machine or dryer. The insert core is wrapped in a water-resistant liner that keeps liquids from penetrating the fill.

If the insert needs cleaning, spot-treat the outer envelope using a cloth dampened with cool water and a few drops of mild laundry detergent or dish soap. Wipe clean with a damp towel and allow it to air dry completely before reassembling.
