What is the Ruggable Return Policy?

The Life Happens Guarantee gives you 30 days to bring your Ruggable home, live with it, and make sure it fits your space and your everyday life — spills, pets, hosting nights, and all.

Return Eligibility

Eligible Ruggable.com purchases can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, minus applicable return processing fees.

Before starting a return, please note:

  • Minor pet hair, signs of washing, and everyday use are considered normal wear and tear and are still acceptable to be returned.

  • Items returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear may not qualify for a refund.

  • Returns must be shipped back in the original packaging or similar protective packaging.

  • If multiple items were delivered in a single package, please contact Customer Care at [email protected] for return assistance.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If the order was paid for with multiple payment methods, refunds are returned to the original payment methods based on how the payment was split.

  • Two-Piece Rug Systems must be returned together, including both the Rug Cover and Rug Pad.

Return Processing Fee

Returns processing fees are deducted from your refund amount and vary based on the size and type of item being returned.

  • Tier 1: $15 CAD - Doormats, Bath Mats, Pillows, Pet Beds, and select small rug sizes (2x3, 2.5x7, 2.5x10, 2.5x12, 3x5)

  • Tier 2: $30 CAD - Medium rug sizes (4x6, 5x7, 6x9, 6' round)

  • Tier 3: $45 CAD - Large rug sizes (8x10, 9x12, 10x14, 8' round)

Exceptions to The Life Happens Guarantee:

  • Products marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase are not eligible for returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

  • Ruggable Spot Cleaner & Stain Remover, Gift Cards and Sample Swatches are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Only items purchased directly from Ruggable.com are eligible for return through Ruggable. If your item was purchased through a third-party retailer or website, please contact the original seller directly to process your return.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I receive a partial refund?

In some cases, refunds may be issued for less than the full order amount. This can happen if:

  • Your returned item was received damaged beyond normal wear and tear

  • A returns processing fee was deducted

  • A post-purchase discount was applied to your order

  • Your order was late or lost

We understand that rugs are meant to be lived on. Minor pet hair, signs of everyday use, or having washed your product are completely okay. However, items returned in a condition beyond normal wear and tear may not qualify for a full refund.

Please also make sure your return is shipped back in the original packaging, or similar protective packaging, to help prevent damage during transit.

Why was my return not accepted?

All returned items are carefully inspected once they arrive at our facility. If a returned item is considered to be beyond normal wear and tear, it may not qualify for a full refund or the return may not be accepted.

Normal signs of everyday use — like minor pet hair or having washed your product — are generally okay. However, items that are heavily worn, damaged, improperly packaged, or otherwise outside the guidelines of our Return Policy may be denied.

To help avoid damage during transit, please return items in their original packaging or similar protective packaging.
