Ruggable warrants (to the original purchaser) that our products will be free from any material or manufacturing fault or defect which would prevent our products from giving satisfactory service for a period of one year from the date of delivery.

If a manufacturing defect has been identified upon receipt of the product or develops under normal conditions of use during the warranty period, Ruggable will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the damaged item without charge. For warranty claims submitted within the applicable return window, Ruggable may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund in lieu of repair or replacement. In instances of minor defects or damage (to be determined by Ruggable), Ruggable may offer a partial refund or credit.

For California residents: If, after a reasonable number of attempts, Ruggable is unable to repair the product to conform to this warranty, Ruggable will provide a replacement or a refund of the purchase price, at its election. Where a refund is provided, it will be made in cash or its equivalent and not solely as store credit. This right is in addition to, and not limited by, the remedy options described above.

To file a warranty claim on a Ruggable item, contact Ruggable's customer support team using any of the following methods:

  • Email: [email protected]

  • Mail: Ruggable LLC, Attn: Warranty Claims, 17809 S. Broadway, Gardena, CA 90248

Proof of purchase (such as an order confirmation or receipt) is required. Please include a description of the defect and, where possible, photographs of the affected product. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to products sold on Ruggable.com.

This warranty is valid for a period of up to one year from the date of delivery. This warranty shall not apply to defects first notified to Ruggable in writing more than one year after delivery to the original purchaser. If Ruggable replaces your item under this limited warranty, the remaining portion of the warranty period will be based on your original purchase date.

This is a limited warranty and contains specific exclusions and limitations.

Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

The warranties extended on Ruggable products are intended for the protection of the initial purchaser and are not transferable to any other party.

Ruggable’s liability and purchaser’s exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to the actual cost of repair or replacement of the item. Ruggable's total liability shall not exceed the invoice amount to the original purchaser. If replacement is warranted, Ruggable shall provide an item of equal value if the identical item is unavailable. Ruggable is not responsible for property loss or damage, removal or relocation of furnishings, or any incidental or consequential damages or costs associated with repair or replacement. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the one-year term of this express limited warranty. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.  Some States and Provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of implied warranties in consumer transactions accompanied by an express warranty. Ruggable does not exclude or disclaim implied warranties where such exclusion or disclaimer is prohibited by applicable law. Residents of California, Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec, among others, may have implied or statutory warranty rights that cannot be waived, excluded, or limited by this warranty. Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any such rights, and this warranty applies in addition to those rights.

This limited warranty does not include the product serging or fringe and specifically excludes any damage to the product caused by normal or extraordinary wear and tear, commercial use, improper maintenance, or any damage caused by factors not inherent in the product at the time of purchase. Material and manufacturing defects will be determined by an authorized Ruggable inspector.

This warranty is only applicable to indoor floor coverings that are placed indoors, outdoor floor coverings that are placed outdoors, and floor coverings placed in environments maintained at normal temperature and humidity (e.g., excess heat has not been applied to the floor coverings). This warranty will not cover any condition resulting from problems caused by wetting or the persistence of moisture. It does not cover tears, burns, cuts, pulls, or other damage, deterioration, stain, loss of color or appearance caused by improper or inadequate maintenance, or abuse.

Abnormal Wear and Accidents: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse or accidents, such as staining, soiling, burning, flooding, cutting or spilling; damage caused by pets; or damage caused by improper cleaning methods and materials. It does not cover products placed in use on stairs, ramps, or any area regularly subjected to wheeled or rolling apparatuses. Occasional sprouting pulls, or loss of single tufts of fiber or threads is normal and should be trimmed with sharp shears.

Changes in Area Floor Covering Color: This warranty does not cover changes in floor covering color resulting from external causes, such as fading due to spills of household chemicals and other non-food and non-beverage substances.

Differences of Color Variations: We do not cover minor and normal differences between color and texture from specification samples or website images.

Rug Definitions:

  • Rug Cover: The top, machine-washable layer of a 2-Piece Rug (such as Flatwoven, Re-Jute, Outdoor).

  • Rug Pad: The non-slip base layer. Each Rug Pad is designed for a specific Ruggable product and is not interchangeable across products.

  • 2-Piece Rug: A rug made up of a Rug Cover and its designated Rug Pad (such as Flatwoven, Re-Jute, Outdoor). The Rug Pad is required.

  • All-In-One Rug: A single-piece rug (such as Tufted, Performance Weave, Plush) that does not require a Rug Pad. An optional, product-specific Rug Pad is available.

Improper Padding: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from use of an incompatible Rug Pad. For 2-Piece Rugs, this also includes use of a Rug Cover without its Rug Pad, which is required. All-In-One Rugs do not require a Rug Pad. Because Rug Pads are not interchangeable between products, a Rug Pad intended for a different Ruggable product is considered incompatible. Damage or defects unrelated to padding remain covered under the terms of this warranty

Shading or Pile Pressure: We are not responsible for shading or pile pressure which may affect pile fabrics due to varying weight and traffic on or over your area floor covering's surface during use. We are not responsible for damage caused by failure to use protective chair pads under chairs with roller casters.

Roll Marks: Roll marks are caused by rolling the floor covering for shipment but will normally disappear with routine vacuuming. Rolling the floor covering for shipping can cause seam peaking. Carefully rolling your floor covering in the opposite direction will minimize this problem, and it should disappear after a few weeks.

Use of Topical Treatments: This warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of topical treatments. Topical treatments include, but are not limited to, any aftermarket soil, stain, or insect repellent. Damage or defects unrelated to such treatments remain covered under the terms of this warranty.

Shedding: Shedding is normal in new floor coverings and will lessen over time with routine vacuuming.

Geographic Locale: This warranty is only applicable in the United States and Canada.

Our floor coverings are stain-resistant and durable, but no floor covering is impervious to everything. Routine care and cleaning are vital to maintaining the long-term durability and appearance of your floor covering. For care instructions, please visit our Care Guide.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
