1. Remove the soiled Shag Rug Cover from the Rug Pad and put it in the washer, pile side out. If Rug Pad requires cleaning, we recommend a washcloth with warm, soapy water.

2. Machine wash the Rug Cover in cold water on a delicate cycle using a mild, non-bleach detergent.

3. Add fabric softener during the rinse cycle.*
*Please note that we only recommend this for our Shag Rug Cover and not our other Rug Covers.

4. Hang dry your Shag Rug Cover for best results. You may tumble dry using the Delicate or Air Fluff setting of your dryer, if available. Do not apply anything more than very low heat during the washing and drying process to prevent damage to the fibers of your Shag Rug Cover.

Tip: If desired, you may spray tangled portions with a ½ fabric softener / ½ water mixture and gently brush with a pet slicker brush.
